TERRARIUM

A world under glass. Nathaniel Bagshaw Ward accidentally invented the terrarium in 1842 when a fern spore germinated in a sealed jar he'd forgotten about.

Inside: a complete water cycle. Moisture rises, condenses on the glass, runs back down to the soil. A self-sustaining ecosystem in miniature.

"In a terrarium, you can watch an entire world breathe."

Moss grows slowly. Droplets form and slide. Something small and green lives quietly, asking nothing of you.

This is a sanctuary. Stay as long as you like.
